Glaucoma screening
Recommended from age 40. Combines eye pressure measurement with an examination of the optic nerve to detect glaucoma at an early stage.
OCT retinal scan
Optical coherence tomography is a high-resolution scan of the retina that helps detect macular degeneration and other retinal conditions at an early stage.
Occupational eye exam for screen work (Arbeitsmedizin G37)
Mandatory preventive screening for employees at display screen workstations. We carry out the examination in line with the requirements of the occupational health guideline G37.
Laser surgery
State-of-the-art laser procedures for gentle outpatient treatments, with no need for a hospital stay.
Argon laser
Treatment for diabetic retinopathy, retinal tears and holes, and retinal vascular occlusions. The procedure takes 10 to 20 minutes and is performed on an outpatient basis.
YAG laser
Treatment for secondary cataract (after cataract surgery) and glaucoma iridotomy. The procedure takes just a few minutes, is painless and works immediately.
Medical certificates (Gutachten)
Ophthalmic medical certificates (Gutachten) for driving licence, boat licence (Bootsführerschein) and medical clearance for pilots (Flugtauglichkeit), arranged promptly and without hassle.
Medical certificate for driving licence (Führerschein-Gutachten)
For all driving licence classes. The examination takes about 20 minutes.
Medical certificate for a boat licence (Bootsführerschein)
Ophthalmic medical certificate (Gutachten) for sea and inland waters.
Medical clearance for pilots (Flug- und Pilotentauglichkeit)
Medical certificate (Gutachten) in line with the requirements of the aviation authority. Please bring any existing certificates to the examination.
Children & orthoptics clinic
Children's eyes need special attention. The earlier vision problems are detected, the better the treatment outcomes.
Screening examinations
We recommend a first examination between 6 and 12 months of age, and by age 3 at the latest. This way, congenital vision defects can be detected in good time.
Strabismus diagnostics
Detection and treatment of strabismus (crossed eyes) by our experienced orthoptists.
Lazy eye (amblyopia) treatment
Treatment of lazy eye (amblyopia) with eye patching therapy, particularly effective in early childhood.
