Frequently asked questions
- Do I need an appointment?
- For most examinations, an appointment is recommended. For acute symptoms, we offer a walk-in clinic (Tue and Wed 8 to 10 a.m., Thu 8:30 to 9:30 a.m.).
- How do I book an appointment?
- The easiest way is via Doctolib (online, 24/7) or by phone on 0781 - 36446.
- Is there parking?
- The doctor's office does not have its own parking. Paid on-street parking with parking meters is available nearby (subject to availability), along with public car parks in central Offenburg.
- Can I drive after pupil dilation?
- No. After dilating drops, your vision will be impaired for several hours. Please come by public transport or arrange for someone to drive you.
- Are preventive examinations covered by health insurance?
- Glaucoma screening and the OCT scan are self-pay individual health services (individuelle Gesundheitsleistungen / IGeL), generally not covered by statutory health insurance. Private insurers often reimburse them.
- Which languages do you offer consultations in?
